Martin Kaymer wins 2014 US Open

第114回US Open Golfが6月12〜15日、Pinehurst Resort（Pinehurst, NC）で開催され、Martin Kaymer（DE）が通算271（-9）で優勝した。２位タイはErick Compton（US：-1）、Rickie Fowler（US：-1）だった。

Kaymer（29歳）はドイツの若手選手で、2010年のPGA Championshipに続くメジャーチャンピオンシップ２度目の優勝である。US Openでドイツ選手が優勝したのは初めてである。

Pinehurstでは19日からUS Women’s Openが開催される。同じ年に両大会が同一コースで開催されるのは今回が初めてである。
