Bora Asku Spring/Summer 2014 show on day one of London Fashion Week.

New York Fashion Weekは12日に終わった。13日にはLondon Fashion Week（LFW）が開催した。17日までの会期中に約150のデザイナーブランドがプレゼンテーションを行い、世界中からファッションプレスとバイヤー5,000人がロンドンにやって来る。

British Fashion Council（BFC：Natalie Massenet会長）がオルガナイザーするオンスケジュールショーは74ブランドで、メイン会場のサマーセットハウス（コートヤード）ではこのうち18ブランドがランウエイショーを開催する。

Somerset House, where the majority of the on-schedule shows will be presented. This season will see veteran brands making their LFW debut and a number of new design stars unveiling their collections alongside English heritage fashion houses. - See more at: 

LFWの５日間はロンドン中がファッション一色に包まれる。BFCのオンステージショー以外に、多くの企業や組織がサポートするショーやプレゼンテーションがロンドン市内で開催される。有力デパートとブティックはデザイナーブランドをディスプレイし、ラグジュアリーホテルとレストランではレセプションとパーティが開催される。

9月18〜23日はMilan Fashion Week、24日〜10月2日はParis Fashion Weekも次々に開催される。
