St Louis and Boston advance to World Series

NLCS第6戦LA Dogers @ St LouisがBusch Stadiumで10月18日行われ、カーディナルスが9-0でドジャースを降し、４勝2敗でナショナルリーグ優勝した。カーディナルスは2011年のワールドシリーズ優勝から２年ぶりのリーグ優勝である。NLCS MVPはマイケル・ワーチャが受賞した

いっぽうALCSは18日にDetroit @ Bostonの第６戦がFenway Park で開催され、レッドソックスが5-2でタイガースを降し、４勝2敗でリーグ優勝した。ALCS MVPは上原投手が獲得した。それにしても、上原はひげを剃ってしまったが、他の選手はまだ伸ばしている。23日のWorld Series第１戦にはボストンの選手はみんなすっきりしてゲームに登場するのか？

10月23日から始まるワールドシリーズはカーディナルス（NLCS）とレッドソックス（ALCS）の両チームが対決する。第1戦はFanway Stadium（Boston）で7:30 ESTにスタートOXが全米中継する。
