The Nike We Run Race Series 2013

30,000 runners at We Run Seoul

Nike’s We Run races range in distance from 5K to a full marathon and reflect the unique enthusiasm of each city. From Sao Paulo, to Seoul, to Singapore, runners will be moved to action through a series of unique experiences. 

30,000 runners took to the streets of Seoul on Nov. 17 for the Nike We Run Seoul race, part of Nike's global We Run race movement. 

ナイキは11月17日「We Run Seoul」を開催した。参加者は30,000人で、コースは10kと7kが設定された。ナイキは２カ月前から「Nike Run the City」マップをアップロードし、ディジタルランニングゲ−ムを運営してプロモーションを展開した。このゲームには65,000人が参加したとナイキは発表している。韓国はディジタル先進国だからこれは適切なプロモーションで、参加者のうち13,000人はランゲームでレジスターしている。今年は高校生枠（3,000人）も設けたようで、７kは高校生向けのコースである。

The 10K course took participants past iconic locations such as Kwanghwamun Square and Seoul City Rally Square, over the Mapo Bridge and finished at Yeouido Park.

「Nike We Run」シリーズは８月31日プラハ（チェコ共和国）からスタートし、ソウルは18都市目である。最終都市ジャカルタ（12/15）まで、４カ月間をかけて26都市でレースを開催する。全都市の参加ランナーは35万人と予想されている。アジアではシンガポール、マニラ、ソウルでも開催されるが、日本では開催していない。
